This season, Toronto’s waterfront will bring a new energy to destinations across the waterfront. Illuminated with dynamic and diverse activities; live music, dance, markets, arts and cultural experiences, public installations, family-friendly programming and more, the waterfront is where you want to be.
Make an event the starting point for your visit, then continue along the lake to explore the boundless fun and festivities.

Music Garden Concerts
Dates: Sept 18-20, Sept 25-27, Oct 2-4
Fridays: 6–7 PM

Over three weekends, enjoy free outdoor live music performances featuring local and international musicians. Don’t miss the evening performances transforming Toronto's Music Garden into an immersive experience.
Gatsby Redux
Dates: Sept 26-27 and Oct 3
Location: Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay W.
Step into the sights and sounds of the Jazz Age with a contemporary dance piece that reimagines F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic masterpiece into Gatsby Redux, an immersive outdoor performance transporting Harbourfront Centre into the glamorous world of the Roaring Twenties.
Dog Days of Ontario Culture Days
Dates: Sunday, Sept 28 & Sunday, Oct 4
Micah Lexier’s Dog Days of Ontario Culture Days is a multi-location conceptual experience exploring the ritual and culture of dogs and their humans. Dog Days of Ontario Culture Days consists of a pair of independent yet thematically linked components:
Guess Your Dog’s Age or Weight: A performance in which a “carnival guesser” attempts to accurately guess a dog’s age or weight.
A Portrait of The Person Making a Portrait of Your Dog: A live drawing activation where visitors receive a free sketch of their dog by a local sketch artist.
Fall Harvest Market
Dates: Oct 9 – 12
Friday 5 PM – 10 PM
Saturday and Sunday 12 PM -10 PM
Monday 12 PM – 8 PM
Location: Sugar Beach, 11 Dockside Drive
A seasonal market celebrating the arrival of fall, featuring local vendors, harvest-inspired food and drinks, and live entertainment. Enjoy an afternoon by the waterfront while discovering local makers, seasonal flavours and more.
Global Convenience
Date: On now – early October
Location: Harbour Square Park, 25 Queens Quay W
Ever seen a convenience store floating on the water? Global Convenience, a public art installation by Trevor Wheatley and Cosmo Dean, reimagines the familiar neighbourhood corner store as a floating structure in Harbour Square Basin. The installation reflects everyday city life and the shared spaces where Toronto’s different communities and cultures come together.
The installation is presented by Waterfront Toronto in collaboration with Puncture Design. Please note that this is an art installation and visitors should not climb or touch the artwork.
The Calls (Toronto)
Date: September 27 at 12 PM & 2:15 PM
Location: Kajama Tall Ship, 235 Queens Quay W
As part of Toronto Biennial of Art 2026, The Calls (Toronto) invites audiences aboard the Kajama Tall Ship for a one-hour immersive sound performance on Lake Ontario.
Eighteen voices from the Modern Sound Collective Choir and two dancers create abstract sounds and vocal sirens that respond to the movement of the ship and the surrounding harbour, turning the sailing itself into part of the performance.
Lughnasadh Music Festival
Date: September 25 - 27
Location: The Corleck, 3 Eireann Quay
Lughnasadh Music Festival brings music from Ireland to Toronto for three nights of folk, rock and pop. Featuring emerging and established Irish and Canadian artists, the festival celebrates contemporary Irish music and the connections between Ireland and Canada.
Located on Toronto’s waterfront at the historic Canada Malting site, The Corleck is a new arts and culture venue operated by the Canada Ireland Foundation.

Outdoor Activities
Get out on the water with a harbour cruise, sailing or paddle experience, or trip to the island and see Toronto from a completely different perspective!
Some of the best waterfront experiences don’t require a ticket or a schedule. Spend the day outdoors and take a stroll or bike the waterfront trail. Explore the green parks, public spaces, and appreciate various public art pieces. Find a spot at the beach or settle in by the lake and take in the picturesque views.
Patio Season Isn't Over Yet
Cooler days, sunny afternoons and waterfront views makes the beginning of fall a great time to enjoy Toronto’s patios.
